May 13 - 31, 2009:  Horizon Lines - New Work by Marlene Pape

Marlene's current art exhibit explores horizon lines, interpreted in both abstract and landscape styles. Trees continue to figure prominently in her work, specifically birch trees, as well as skies, clouds and water. Regardless of whether the artwork is of an urban or country setting, horizontal elements always seem to evoke a feeling of calm, balance and tranquility. Marlene is also displaying some of her portrait work in this exhibit, both human and animal.
